The multichain series (shared seperately on Ethereum and Solana) shares a contemplative, introspective outlook on the challenges of the over-saturation of information and gratuitous feeling in our current time. While the overwhelming impact can often mislead us, it has reminded me personally that duality is essential; proposing the notion that sadness and happiness coexisting in a millisecond, bursts into a form of a new creation. As written in the article from Emily Brady, Melancholy as an Aesthetic Emotion: “One feature that makes melancholy an aesthetic emotion-like that of sublimity-is its dual nature. There are negative and positive aspects in it which alternate, creating contrasts and rhythms of pleasure.” This series works collaboratively with one of the most frequently criticized emerging forces of the digital art scene, and the world at large: AI. Working with AI has expanded my mind to possibilities that would have otherwise been impossible to perceive with my sole perspective. It allowed me to further explore a theme that I have been investigating since 2023: flowers. Coming from an abstract field and diving into a figurative methods, honours the inner child who finds a semblance of balance between high states of emotion.
